Renovation Project: Kitchen Remodel

This project was for a couple moving from Houston to Dallas to be closer to grandkids. They bought their home earlier that year knowing that they wanted a custom kitchen before moving in. Some of the important elements to them were appliances that wouldn't clutter the countertops and a hidden ceiling fan that would cool off the space while hosting large groups.

Renovation Project: Bathroom Remodel

This project was for a bathroom that was stuck in the early 2000's and allocated the space in a way that didn't function for the homeowners. The majority of the bathroom was centered around an oversized, double head shower but the wife exclusively takes baths. In addition, the room felt dark with the only natural light coming from a skylight and all the accent colors ranging in the darker beige family. Our main goal for this couple was to lighten up the space and to add a freestanding tub to the layout.

Furnishing Project: Addison, TX Townhome

This project was dear to my heart because of the amazing client I got to work alongside. He is a widower of about 7 years and just bought this townhome 2 months prior to hiring Hope Miriam Designs. He decided to sell almost every piece of furniture he owned for a fresh start but quickly became overwhelmed with the number of decisions that needed to be made.

Exterior Renovation: Dallas, TX Home Exterior

This home was built in the late 50's like many homes in Lake Highlands, Dallas. This means the home was built with orange brick and is just shy of 2000 sq. ft. Additionally, this home had some "pops" of color on the garage, shutters and door. While I can respect the symmetry in their paint job, the color scheme was bold and dated to say the least..

Design Project: Grapevine, TX Nursery

This project was for a dear friend. They bought their home back in 2020 and Hope Miriam Designs has slowly worked in almost every room. But this project in particular was special because it was converting a small room into their first nursery!

Design Project: Dallas, TX WFH Solution

The Lake Highlands and Lochwood neighborhoods in Dallas, TX are as hot as ever which has produced a number of design projects with clients that want to maximize the space they already live in. This project focused on a small back room that was so odd in size that it became a junk room.
