This May has been uncharacteristically cool and I’ve been trying to soak it up! In Dallas, it typically gets hot quick and there’s no going back. So we’ve been taking extra walks around the neighborhood and sitting out on the outdoor patio since the mosquitos have also been at bay.
I wanted to get this month’s round up out before the end of the holiday weekend so you guys can take advantage of all the sales! Many of these items I bought previously and got really excited to see how many are available at a discount for the weekend.
Woven Pillow $24 Target does it again! I’m telling you these Studio McGee pillows are top of the line and look just as good as West Elm or Crate & Barrel. Pro tip, buy this pillow and then replace the insert with a down filling to get an even higher-end look.
U-Candle Holder $20 I’m obsessed with this candle holder. It’s made of marble, has a playful shape, and looks chic stacked on top of a coffee table book.
Rose Colored Round Mirror $145 I purchased this mirror for our monochromatic project and it’s such a fresh take on the classic wall mirror. It’s feminine and fun for just about any space!
Silk Scarf $24 So typically I don’t share clothing in this space but hear me out.. Sure this is a fun summer scarf for your hair or tied to a purse but I actually purchased this scarf to frame. I’m in love with the print and think it could bring so much interest above an antique chest in our living room.
Blue Marbled Lamp $137 Don’t sleep on Target’s online lamp selection!! They have good selections in store but if you search Safavieh or Jonathan Y lamps, you’ll find a whole new selection that look designer in scale and form.
Candle Sconce $99 I love this option of lighting for the wall and you don’t have to worry about electrical wiring or having an outlet nearby. Plus the antiqued mirror bring so much interest to the piece — it almost feels old world.
“Sweet Dreams” Print $197 Such a great piece of art at an affordable price point! Could be used in a nursery, little girl’s room, or even in a common area. It’s calming and has a great color combination plus balance.
Floor Mirror $249 I love the wood accents on this floor mirror and how the legs lift the mirror off the floor. Often floor mirrors aren’t tall enough for a room while sitting on the floor. Plus without a major angle, it’s hard to get a full body view without distortion. This mirror is so smart by designing a slight lift!
Mustard Accent Chair $ 488 This is a funky fun accent chair AND it’s on major sale for the weekend! The fabric is a warm mustard and has beautiful detail stitching. Plus the legs are just so unexpected and cool. All around a big win!!
So that’s the quick and dirty round up for this month. What do you guys have planned for the long weekend? I hope you plan to take advantage of the extra time and maybe even do a little sale shopping.
Sincerely,
HMD
