Another year in the books! As I’ve reflected on the past year, there are so many amazing clients I’m grateful for and even more projects ahead to look forward to.
The hope of this series is to share all the best products I source for clients to give you access to designer finds. Now, I know there are strong feelings on new year resolutions, but regardless of what camp you find yourself in, I’m excited to share some of my favorite things from this month that can set your home up for the new year.
The photo above was taken in a client’s home in the M-Streets in Dallas, TX. We were able to furnish the common areas along with decorate the built ins with beautiful storage solutions. This month’s favorite things focuses on aesthetically pleasing storage options and other items that will easily refresh your home regardless your new year goals.
Tapered Rattan Ceiling Light $150 The newest Studio Mcgee line has dropped at Target and this is such a DEAL! Beautiful design and would work well in a dining nook or an office.
Monsoon Art $20 This art is from Juniper Prints but looks so high end with its deep, saturated colors. I sourced this art for one of our latest renovations and cannot wait to share it in the remodeled space come 2023.
Rattan Bin Natural $39 These baskets are one of the pretty storage options I want to share. We used these baskets in a client’s built ins (see in first image on this page) and they are perfect for storing smaller items in a beautiful way.
Petrified Wood Tray $39 This may be a less thought of item for organization but I love a unique catch-all tray for jewelry at night. This tray is on clearance and has such a beautiful finish. It’s also a great piece for a bathroom counter to catch any rings that come off before a shower.
Chenille Accent Chair $349 This accent chair is a go-to for clients as it’s affordable yet a statement look. I love the navy chenille fabric and there’s also a great dark olive option as well. Worth checking out if you have a space in need of a chair update.
Floral Performance Sheet Set $55 As you enter the new year, another great refresh is updating where you lay your head each night. I love the pattern on this sheet set because it’s interesting without being overly feminine. You also could purchase just the shams if you need some decorative pillows on your bed.
Full Focus Planner $46 I’ve shared this planner before but it’s worth the second mention especially as we approach the new year. I definitely fall in the group that picks out a new planner each December, but this planner is better than any other I’ve used before! It helps with quarterly planning and is printed on the most beautiful paper.
Polished Brass Flush Mount $599 If you’ve been around our blog long enough, you know I rave over a good flush mount. With a husband that’s 6’7 and working in older homes, a decorative flush mount light is such a win. This light is no exception!
Wooden Book Display $138 Coffee table books aren’t just for stacking.. a display stand like this one is an interesting, different way to display books in your home. I like to use this item on console tables and then change the page that’s open as a part of the decor.
The new year brings with it a fresh motivation to live a more beautiful life and I’m so grateful you’re here to reset with us.
Sincerely,
HMD
