The top picks for the month of September include some amazing new items and they’re all under $100. Get ready to shop!
We have all been on the receiving end of supply chain issues for the past two years but we’re starting to see a shift. In response to all the backorders, many retailers over stocked their current inventory. Now, we are seeing retailers forced to markdown prices to keep the product moving. In supply chain this is called the “bull whip effect” but this month I’m sharing where to find some fun savings!
Stamped Pillow $96 One retailer that is currently marking down their bestsellers is Lulu & Georgia! This is one of my favorite places to source for clients though many of their pieces are an investment. So with many of their items 30% off, it’s the perfect time to snatch up some beautiful pieces like this stamped lumbar pillow. The colors are perfectly earthy and the pattern is interesting without feeling trendy.
Half Circle Cups $24.50/pair — I just love how this product takes something so functional and makes it playful. You could buy a few of these and use them for cocktail parties or get a whole set for everyday use. Another use would be as an accessory for your built-ins, I always recommend adding some type of clear material to the mix.
Marble Chain $33 This is a STEAL from Lulu & Georgia! Similar products at the same retail are smaller and not real marble like this one. I know these chains have been around for a bit now but they are still such a fun accessory for a console table, coffee table or a built-in landscape.
Boucle Blanket $25 This color blocked, mahogany blanket is the perfect accessory for any living space. The coloring is a warm neutral plus who doesn’t love a chic blanket to wrap up in. I also highly recommend draping a blanket like this one on the back of your sofa to add some interest if the sofa doesn’t back up to a wall.
Abstract Canvas Art $50 I love art like this that is simple yet beautiful. This piece is perfect for leaning and layering with other art pieces along a console table or for a smaller area in need of a pop of interest.
Woven Wall Art $97 I personally love taking decor that feels archeological, like this hanging art, and making a home feel like a curated museum. I don’t want pieces to feel boho but as if it was curated for a collector from around the world. Surprise, surprise, this is another find from Lulu & Georgia.
Glass Candle Holders $20-$45 These candle holders are perfect for a dinner party in the fall! They give a romantic glow to a tablescape and could be used indoor or outdoor.
Burnt Wood Tray $30 At my local Target, I actually found this decorative bowl in the kitchen section. An added bonus is it smells like burnt wood, in the best way! It looks amazing as a fruit bowl for the kitchen or with a marble chain intentionally laid inside for other areas of the home.
Sweater Dress $59 I typically stick with home decor for this series but I recently bought this dress and had to share! It is the softest material and looks amazing with or without a belt. It’s also a light material so it’s perfect for this timing when the weather is still fluctuating between warm/cool.
I’m not sure how long these sales will last so I thought I’d go ahead and share this post a couple days early! Enjoy the rest of September and the cooler weather we are starting to enjoy.
Sincerely,
HMD
